Early shipping
Early packaging and shipping for dahlia tubers.
For those of you who desire to get and early start to the dahlia growing season or to take dahlia cuttings to multiply your stock for the growing season!
The $25 fee covers additional packing material, insulated box, and 96 hour heat pack.
We have tested this packaging configuration to successfully pack and ship dahlia tubers down to 13 degrees F. As a margin of safety we only ship with low forecast temperatures of 20 degrees as a margin of safety. We ship USPS priority and UPS 2nd day air depending on distance traveled.
Orders to most locations are shipped in February per our 20 degree F ship imitation. We strive to ship as soon as the weather allows.
Note: We will make every effort to ensure tubers are well packed and insulated during shipping - we cannot guarantee safe passage of your tubers. We are a customer focused business and our focus is on you being able to grow these flowers in the coming growing season.
