Hi, and welcome to our garden in Fort Collins, Colorado. My name is Tim and I am the owner of Pedaling Petals. Thank you for finding us and for visiting our site. While we are surprised that we are on this journey we are also happy and grateful to be here as well!
We have come to find that the benefits of flowers and gardening are wonderful for the mind, body, and soul. We hope to share that with you in whatever way that speaks to you. It could be giving flowers to someone, having fresh flowers in your house, or growing a flower garden. They all have the potential to make the world a more enjoyable place to be!
Our story
In 2020, we started growing flowers in our backyard — not as a business, just as something to do during a hard time. We didn’t even know what a dahlia was yet.
We began delivering bouquets to local medical offices, just to say thank you and bring a little joy to people who needed it.

In the years since, that grew into something we still do today: loading up buckets of dahlias onto an electric cargo bike and pedaling them over to a local nursing home, so residents there can arrange fresh blooms of their own.
That’s genuinely how Pedaling Petals began — not with a business plan, but with a bike, some flowers, and a simple idea that a bouquet can make someone’s day a little brighter.
