This flower grew on me as the weather cooled from the 90’s into the 80’s. During the 90’s the blooms were a red color and as the weather cooled into the 90 the red became rose and the lower petals a sandy rose color making it quite the bloom!

Cutting snips in 10% bleach solution for 10 minutes between harvesting flowers, between plants, and between division of one tuber clump to another. 10% virus testing AQL sampling plan for all Dahlia tubers over $25. Preventative insect management via soil health, companion planting, attraction of benificial insects and birds, and plant BRIX number management.
