Linen doesn’t really look like a typical dahlia — the form is genuinely its own thing, with soft cream petals traced in faint pink. The part we find most fun to watch: it opens and closes on its own daily rhythm, folding up in the evening and unfurling again the next morning, a habit that continues even after it’s cut and sitting in a vase. It’s also a heavy bloomer, so there’s no shortage of chances to see it happen.
